How to build a DIY electric powered reverse tilting trike
In this video you see me building an electric reverse tilting trike scooter. It is powered by 2 hoverboard motors bolted to the rear wheel.
It has front and rear suspension, and can lean in the corners.
I used the front suspension from an ATV that I modified.
It drives well but it’s a little underpowered for the weight. The hoverboard motors are only 350w each, and are powered by a 36v lithium battery.
The motors are controlled by 2 BLDC 350w controllers.
The front wheels are from an ATV, rear wheel is from a lawnmower.
The frame is built out of 25mm tubing (2mm wall thickness)
