Putin accused the West of destabilizing global food production and said action is needed for food crisis not to turn “tragic”. Speaking at a meeting with visiting Indonesian President Joko Widodo, who just ended a visit to Ukraine and expressed his concern over the shipments of grain, Putin again claimed Russia is not interfering. Widodo said he had urged G7 leaders to ensure sanctions did not affect food and fertilizer supply. He conveyed his readiness to become a “communication bridge” between Russia and Ukraine.
