1977 Morley Evo-1 Oil Can Echo-Delay Overhaul & Test
Jack & I were flattered recently when the Morley company asked us to restore one of their 1977 Echo-Delay Pedals, which uses a Tel-Ray-style oil can unit to produce some really incredible effects. This video documents the entire procedure including disassembly, cleaning, reassembly and with a detailed discussion of design and operating theory, history, and an audio demonstration of the echo-delay effect in stereo.
In addition we will be visited by Ollie, Jack, and KC at various times during the video to break up the monotony ;)
