Tropea must be one of the most beautiful beach towns in Italy and the entire world. Come along with us on this June 18, 2002 walk as we tour the beach and the historic town center. Starting at the Corso Vittorio Emanuele in the center of town, we walk north and quickly arrive to the amazing overlook of the Mediterranean sea. We then wind through the shops and restaurants and enter the Church of Saint Francis of Assisi. Next, we move to the beach and experience the phenomenally clear water. There are many sunbathers near the cliffs and on the beach, with several oceanfront restaurants serving lunch.
