M/S of workmen laying damp cloth between material to be shrunk at a shrinking factory in London. C/U (5 shots) dissolve to M/S of men taking material out. M/S of workman picking up roll of dampened cloth and walking out of picture. M/S of same workman walks in to drying room and starts to hang up material to dry. C/U of workman hanging up material. C/U of Overseer checking material for dryness. M/S Workman, Gus Shaw pulling cloth down from drying rack. M/S Workmen checking cloth for faults. C/U Workman marking fault with cotton. M/S Checked cloth being dropped down hatch. M/S of workman down below collecting the cloth. M/S Three shots work - man putting cards between folds preparatory to being pressed and taking completed block away. M/S of five workmen lifting block into press. M/S Steel or lead plate being laid on top of cloth. C/U Workman switching on press. C/U Cloth being compressed. L/S Workshop and bale being wound into roll. M/S of roll completed and man taking off stamp paper. C/U Stamp
