A rare recording of Marcel Dupré’s work for piano and organ “Ballade“ (opus 30). Played by the dedicatee (Dupré’s own daughter, Marguerite) and his esteemed pupil Pierre Cochereau on piano and organ, respectively. This was recorded as Cochereau and Marguerite’s 70th birthday gift to the composer. From « Marcel Dupré: l’œuvre pour piano » (bonus track).
