Welcome to the first part of a tutorial series where I’ll be teaching you how you can create something called a SameGame mini-game in Ren’Py.
We will be using Ren’Py script combined with Python code to create the minigame.

Some of the graphics provided, such as parts of the background image and icons, are made with vintage illustrations that are in the public domain, in case you were curious. You can find some of these at .
PSST! I forgot to mention that you should create a new empty Ren’Py project in the size 1280 x 720 (the default size) for this tutorial.

*** About this channel ***
Welcome to my channel! I create mini-game tutorials for the Ren’Py visual novel engine for those of you who want to spice up your visual novels with some more advanced game-play mechanics. My tutorials usually mix Ren’Py’s own scripting language together with Python, so it’s good if you have some knowledge on how to use Python code as well. I don’t have a specific upload schedule, but I try to get new videos out regularly. Thank you for watching my videos and I hope they are helpful!
