Violent clashes break out in Dhaka between nationalists and police

At least 18 people were reportedly injured in scuffles between activists of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party and officers of the ruling Awami government in Dhaka. Riot police faced angry protesters as they blocked streets, while tear gas was fired to disperse them.
