So, what’s my level and how good are my serves really?
I often receive comments about me serving to players that aren’t the same level as me. Whilst that may be true some of the time, given my current work, they have ‘served’ me well over the years against most players.
I’ve put together many examples of my serves being effective against players my level or above. Whilst my serves don’t always win me all my matches, they certainly raise my level and give me a chance to beat much better players.
So, what is my level?! I’m a former semi-professional player and played most of my league table tennis in the Belgian National League. My top ranking in Belgium was A27 but the majority of the time I was B0. In the US my level is probably between 2450-2550, in England my level is probably around the top 20. Hopefully that’s enough information to give you some context on my level. I’m certainly not a world beater but I’m a competent and competitive player.
