MEMPHIS JUG BAND INSTRUMENTAL AND VOCAL COMPLEX (1927- 1934) Guitarist and Harmonicist Will Shade and his merry company were one of the most popular and influential Jug / String bands that proliferated around Memphis and Louisville, as well as the Mississippi Delta in the 1920s and 1930s.
