MCCA - mid common carotid artery DCCA - distal common carotid artery ECA - external carotid artery (running posteriorly to the ICA rather than the slightly more common anteriorly) PICA - proximal internal carotid artery MICA - mid internal carotid artery DICA - distal internal carotid artery VERT - vertebral artery
