Zartir lao [Slowed Reverb] Made in 1890, being used as wakeup-call to all Armenians, it a song about a mother singing to her son, encouraging him to ‘wake up’ and fight to resist the Ottoman massacres of Armenians. It is today the most popular Armenian revolutionary song.
