Industrial Accidents - Trailer (1948)

Thought to be Selected Originals from late 1940s material. A short trailer film encouraging people to report accidents at work and claim their benefits. Fairly light hearted material - A man gets a splinter while using a circular saw at work. He looks at a poster telling him to go to the first aid officer but just sucks his finger instead. A day or two later his finger has gone sceptic and he goes to the first aider and then his doctor to get it treated. The doctor gives him a form to claim his benefits from the National Insurance scheme. His wife sends off the form. End title tells you to ensure you make your claim.
