The Little Blue Macaw (Cyanopsitta spixii) is one of the world’s most endangered birds. In 2000, the last wild specimen disappeared from its endemic region, near Curaçá - Bahia, Brazil. The direct causes of population’s decline was the international trafficking of animals and the destruction of its environment.
