Manatees close to people, Miami, 2023

I was absolutely astonished to see manatees right on the shore near my house in Miami! It was such an unexpected and delightful sight. These gentle giants, usually hidden in deeper waters, were gracefully lounging right by my doorstep. It felt surreal, almost like a scene from a nature documentary, unfolding in my own backyard. Their peaceful presence was a rare and magical encounter, leaving me in awe of nature’s surprises.
