V1 “Triangle“ Big Muff Comparison

Comparison of six different vintage V1 “Triangle“ Big Muffs made by Electro-Harmonix from 1969-1972. If you listen on a phone or little computer speakers, you probably won’t hear much difference. The tone and sustain was set so they sound as close to each other as possible. For those asking, the EHX triangle reissue sound is in between #3 and the upper #1 Triangle. Clips are played through a Reeves Custom 50 (Hiwatt) using a variety of different guitars - Strats with single coils and EMG-SA pickups, Telecaster tuned to dropped D, Les Paul with P-90 and Les Paul with humbuckers.
