Does some really nice chunks on bosses but you do have to pick your spots well; I guess this is the closest thing you can get to a slow two handed heavy weapon that does tons of stagger damage. The fully charged attack has two components, one reaching far and the other close but the far reaching one overlaps with the inner portion; hence the damage difference at distance; the first sword attack is much better than the followup for hitting multiple enemies.
