The first track Gumball 3000 is a straight-up and hard-hitting acid banger complimented with psychedelic elements and uniquely arranged percussion. The second track West to East displays a brilliant blend of dreamy atmospheric pads and tripped-out acid over a heavy driving beat. On the flip side, hard acid techno and rave duo Ad Nauseam from Melbourne, Australia, focus on the dark, dirty, and more ominous aspects of the original while driving it into harder-edged, filthy, and twisted acid techno territory with their trademark mid-’90s rave-inspired style they have become known for. To finish the EP, hard techno maestro SWART delivers a modern-day and industrial-edged remix of the original using heavy distorted kicks and a more unique and mind-bending take of the original acid pattern.
