Muks Robotics showcases their robot dog at the IIT Kanpur’s tech festival TechKirti 2024:
1. The robot dog you see in this video was made by a Pune-based AI robotics startup Muks Robotics and their robot dog is called Guardeo.
2. But as much as the company received praise for their innovation, there were also people who were criticising them and calling Guardeo a copy of Boston Dynamics.
3. You can check out Unitree’s Go2 and see for yourself. But if you go to Muks Robotics company website - the first thing you’ll notice is this statement “We design and manufacture AI-powered general purpose robots”.

Zomato’s pure veg mode:
1. Zomato founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal took to X to announce Zomato’s latest feature - Pure Veg Mode.
2. India has the world’s largest percentage of vegetarians who are especially particular about how their food is cooked and who handles it.
3. Once a user selects this “Pure Veg Mode”, they will only be shown restaurants that serve just vegetarian food and on top of that, their delivery will be handled by a fleet that will only deliver vegetarian food.

India takes back AI advisory:
1. Last week, the Indian government sent out an advisory that asked “significant” tech companies to seek permission from the government before deploying their AI models.
2. It looks like the government has taken the concerns of the AI entrepreneurs into account and decided to rollback that decision.
3. Now, companies don’t need to take any permission from the government before rolling out there AI models but they are still advised to label the content generated through these AI models as undertested or unreliable.

1. Their Co-founder and CEO Sushant Goel has decided to step down from his position as the CEO to become a board member, leaving the reigns of the company to Rajat Luthra.

Minus Zero partners with Ashok Leyland to develop self-driving trucks:
1. Indian autonomous vehicle maker Minus Zero have already demonstrated their autonomous technology by making India’s first autonomous vehicle called zPod.
2. Now, they’ve partnered with India’s second-largest commercial vehicle manufacturer Ashok Leyland to use their technology platform to build autonomous trucking solutions.
