Blakewood Castle - 3 Singles 1970/71 (Rare Canadian Rock)
TIMESTAMPS:
Going Back - 0:00
Scarecrow - 3:04
Gimmie Little Lovin’ - 6:11
Released by a rare Canadian band called Blakewood Castle, originating in Winnipeg, Manitoba (Record label - Franklin Records.) These couple of singles fit right in with the early 70s scene, similar to Steppenwolf and featuring organs, electric guitars and more. Sort of surprised the group never became popular, however it’s just a question of how many bands existed in the area (likely quite a few, generating acts such as The Guess Who and Neil Young.)
MEMBERS:
John Einarson - Guitar
Dave Mann - Drums
Bryan McDowell - Bass
Lonnie Pannell - Vocals
