Cross Edge PS3 True End Part 72 - Boss: Jedah

Fresh start hard mode. Location: Pragma 1 Soul count: 107 - Alright this is it. The hardest boss fight thus far. It’s the first time you fight Jedah and he’s probably the first boss you REALLY wanna end this fight by not killing him. (I think it’s 7 turn limit) He’s absolutely ridiculous to break (down or not) has highest HP thus far and does counter too. Without Chicken emblem you almost stand no chance to break him. - I remembered this boss is the very reason I decided to start uploading video on YT: to help people and share ideas. Turns out my strategy did not change much compare to my first video. - Here is the general strategy: down break him first, then break him and eventually OK. Simple enough? Probably. Here is the setup I used: Etna: Tricut blade lvl 5, Chicken emblem lvl 5, Suzaku Ring Raizen: Durandal lvl 5, Chicken emblem lvl 5, Chicken Ring lvl 5 Zelos: 99 Magnum lvl 5, Chicken emblem lvl 5, Soulpower Ring Marie: Lunar Wand, Chicken emblem lvl 5, Hermes Ring The idea is use weapons and skills that gives you down break bonus. For example Etna’s Lightning Rod and Raizen’s Killing Blow has down break properties so when I do combo I start with them. Once the down gauge is gone I switched to use Zelos’ Power Attack to maximize normal break. It’s quite hard to tell exactly when Jedah will break so I just have to improvise. - At the end I tried to do EX combo but I don’t get a third SP so o well. It does the job decent enough. Overall I’d say Jedah is worth killing but not OK. Genbu Gauntlets I have one already (from DLC) so I don’t necessarily need another. I probably spent 60K EP just to level some gears to lvl 5. Don’t feel obligated to OK this guy if you have to invest too much on it. The equipment will be fast becoming obsolete and I’d rather save up resources for future.
