Hezbollah tunnel found 100m from UN base

Israel accused the UN of turning a blind eye to Hezbollah after troops discovered a tunnel belonging to the terror group just 100 metres from a peacekeeping base. The tunnels were shown to The Telegraph by Israeli troops on a guided visit into southern Lebanon moments before prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the UN to withdraw “immediately“. Standing at the tunnel entrance on Sunday, two weeks after Israel launched its invasion into Lebanon, troops said it was “odd“ that the UN had allowed Hezbollah to construct the tunnels so close to their patrols. #lebanon #hezbollah #israel
