CartaPesta or Papier Mache sculpture for the classroom - Part 1

This series is about a sculpting technique i cam across whilst living in southern Italy called carta pasta. It’s essentially a papier mache technique using newspaper and glue. I use PVA it seems to work so why change what’s working. The first step is to cast a head using a lump of plasticine wrapped around a dolls head and pour in a mix of car resin and ordinary flour to make the casting.
