PRIMA NSD 2022 - Veena’s Mixed-media tag tutorial

Today I would like to share the project inspired by SKETCH. I added a twist to the Sketch and created a long tag with a photo instead of a layout. I have also created a process video for this project so be sure to check it out. I started by prepping the base tag by applying white gesso and white crackle texture paste through the “Victorian Tiles” stencil. Then I took 3 strips of chipboard on which I had adhered a white cardstock and primed them with white gesso. I then applied white crackle texture paste through the “Laurels” stencil and once dried, I adhered them to the base tag. Then I colored the base with “Pearls and Crystals” Mica powders. Then I applied white gesso on the air-dry clay moulds embellishments, and metal embellishments and colored them with Mica powders. Then I built the composition by layering Indigo collection flowers, fussy cuts, air-dry clay and metal embellishments. To adorn the project, I added pearls, art stones, glitters and sequins.
