R-311 “Omega”- Soviet shortwave radio for military use with self-powered. The receiver was developed in the design bureau of the Aleksandrovsky radio plant since 1949 on the basis of the R-253 “Alpha” receiver. Serial production began in 1954, entered service in 1956. Production continued until at least 1975. Produced at least 60,000 pieces. Приемник разрабатывался в КБ Александровского радиозавода с 1949 года на базе приемника Р-253 «Альфа». Серийный выпуск начался в 1954 г., принят на вооружение в 1956 г. Производство продолжалось как минимум до 1975 г. Произведено не менее 60 000 шт.
