Pantanal lake-channel habitat

Footage from a channel feeding into a temporary lake in the Southern Pantanal, Brazil. The channel connects several lakes, which themselves are connected to the main river during the wet season and then isolated during the dry season. Many fish move into the lakes during high water period.
