HÉV Suburban Railway in Budapest, Hungary 🇭🇺 | MÁV-HÉV | 2023

HÉV (Budapesti Helyiérdekű Vasút) is a Suburban railway in Budapest, Hungary. This is a unique railway (I would say, LRT - light rail), which is separated from the Hungarian railways system and consists of several commuter rail lines: Szentendre HÉV H5, Ráckeve HÉV H6, Csepel HÉV H7, Gödöllő HÉV H8, Csömöri HÉV H9. There is a plan to link H5 (north) with H6, H7 (south) lines through the city center, this will be as a Budapest metro line 5. Currently, Budapest HEV trains are represented by the LEW MX and LEW MXA trains, however they will soon be replaced.
