One of the earliest “teen idols“, Frankie Avalon had around 30 US chart hits, but over here in the UK, just four. This is the first of them, peaking at #30 in 1958. BTW - if you never heard of him, he’s the guy who gets a cameo role in the film “Grease“ singing “Beauty School Dropout“.
