Here we take a very thorough look at the 1961 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 3.8 ’Outside Bonnet Latch’ Fixed Head Coupe chassis number 885008 from the Broad Arrow Auctions 2023 Amelia Island sale. 885008 has the distinction of a full and comprehensive restoration by Jeff Snyder of Jeff’s Resurrections under the guidance of author Dr. Michael Mueller. More recently the engine was completely overhauled by Bill Terry of Terry’s Jaguar Offered by Broad Arrow Auctions for $630,000 post auction.
