When we drove up to a small town of Lauko Sodas we saw a church festival - unseen, unknown world. Strange flags fluttering around the church, serious people dressed in a very interesting way, a little bit frightened children holding their parents’ hands. Then I did not take photos, but I saw that it was a world absolutely unknown to me. Only after a few years I started a little bit to realize all this. Having arrived for the third time in the same place, you meet the people you know, you can chat with them, you are already not a stranger. However, religious festivities remained to me fully incomprehensible: there is Catholicism and very strange reflections of paganism, old nature, grass and tree worship“. Romu
