🚆 Night service with a commuter train (Cab Ride Switzerland | S8 Winterthur - Pfäffikon SZ)

As the days get shorter and the nights get longer, the time window to film daytime cabrides is massively reduced. Most of you enjoyed the first night ride on the channel, therefore welcome aboard a brand new night ride! We’re sat aboard the S8 in the sidings of Winterthur where we wait for our turn to pull the train onto the station platform. Only a few minutes until we depart into the night. The S8 connects Zurichs second largest city Winterthur to Pfäffikon SZ, right at the shores of Lake Zurich. While we have been to all stations you’re about to see, this line was never shown before on this channel. If you haven’t noticed in the first video, railway lines are completely unlit during the night. All the light you see on the rails comes from our own headlights or buildings or streets nearby. I personally enjoy the quiet ride and peaceful scenery during the night. Driving through darkness for hours is challenging however, as we always need to focus, even if the body gets tired in ab
