Bryan Kohberger’s Defense Demands Evidence In Idaho Student Murders Case

Despite the state filing its intent to seek the death penalty if Bryan Kohberger is convicted of murdering four University of Idaho students, all the defense wanted to discuss in a motions hearing Tuesday was evidence. “We disagree on when I should get discovery,” Kohberger’s attorney said in court. “It’s necessary to investigate this case and prepare Kohberger’s defense.“ The state fired back, claiming the defense has everything they have. Kohberger, a former Ph.D student at Washington State University, was arrested for the brutal November 2022 slayings at his parents’ home in Pennsylvania after investigators say he drove cross-country to visit his family for the holidays.
