Album: Heads Up | Listen & Download: | | Official website: | Lyrics:
This town is stinking
I gotta leave
Nothing more I can do here
I gave it all I could give,
Gotta find new pastures
Those days are gone, I won’t plead
I ain’t no sheep no more
now I’m gonna lead
I’m gonna find me a brand new place
gonna start moving
And find my pace
They say that leaving
it’s like an escape
But I know I gotta do this
before it’s too late
Now I’m not running away
from my past
I don’t know what I’m gonna find
something different I guess
We’ll I may not discover
peace of mind
but I’m ready for the challenge I’ll deal with anything I find
Gonna stare at the horizon
for a while
Gonna turn this grin
into a big wide smile
Imma find rocks and stones I know
It won’t be all green grass
But I like stumbling upon new things
though some may cut like glass
Now I might not be that special
But I’ aint made from the
mold
I’m gonna turn all this lead
into shining gold
I’m gonna turn all this lead
into shining gold
turn all this lead
into shining gold
Turn all this lead
into shining gold
into shining gold

BALTA BORDOY
With over 30 years of Blues under his belt, Barcelona based Balta Bordoy is rightfully considered a seasoned veteran of the Spanish blues scene, having carved out a successful living as a highly accomplished and in-demand guitarist. He has his own quartet in Barcelona, Balta Bordoy & The Bad Boys, that released a highly praised CD in 2022, “Rock My Blues Away” (Bluztrack 003) featuring Vìctor Puertas on organ and vocals.
He also has a band in Mallorca, Los Peligrosos Gentlemen, with a couple of CDs on the market. They have been playing with artists like Alex Schultz, the late Detroit Gary Wiggins and Julian Vaughn (drummer for Albert and B.B. King, Otis Rush and Johnny “Guitar” Watson, to name a few).
