Nihon-buyou is Japanese traditional performing art Tha Sambaso is one of the most important ceremonial dance is the kabuki theater. It originally comes from the ritual dance Okina in the classical noh theater and with vigorous stamping and shaking of bells; it a prayer for agricultural prosperity. In the kabuki theater, the Sambaso used to be perfomed early in the morning as opening ritual, and part of the regular program. The this version of the dance, the performer imitates stringed marionette doing the Sambaso dance with another performer appearing as the puppeteer. In the enthusiasm of the dance, the strings get tangled and only the help of the puppeteer allows him to dance once more.
