Some other Youtube channel uploaded this video a couple of years ago, but it got taken down. I found the video thanks to a Facebook page called “Tanks. Being tanks.“ Unfortunately, I don’t remember what was in the description or anything for the original Youtube video and I’m not just gonna copy the description from Facebook. In case you’re interested, here’s the like to where I found it: Some quick information on the Rooikat: A lot of embargoes had been placed on South Africa during the apartheid era, so they had to make military vehicles domestically. This led to them developing the Rooikat in the late 80s to replace the Eland-90 (a copy of the AML-90). It’s an 8 wheeled armor car with a 76mm cannon, which is based on the OTO Melara 76mm naval gun except not automatic.
