George Weah Wonder Goal - AC Milan v Verona - 1996

This is George Weah’s fantastic solo goal at the start of the 1996-97 Serie A season against Verona - all set to the wonderful Football Italia theme music from Channel 4. Milan were 1-0 down early on in the game, but managed to record a 4-1 win. This was Milan’s 3rd that afternoon. The season however didn’t go well for Milan - Their UEFA Champions League campaign ended early in the group stages, and they finished a dismal 11th in the league -- avoiding relegation by just 6 points.
