Raag Charukeshi - Pandit Sunder Lal Gandharv

Famous flautist, Pt. Sunder Lal Gandharv was born at small village named Sahmal(H.P) on May13,1950 Pt. ji belongs to a family which has been closely associated with music since . ji started learning music from his father Late Shri Ram Das Gandharv right from the tender age of six. He, later on came to Shimla where he met Dr. B.D. Kala, a disciple of late Raja Bhaiya Punchwale and continue taking lesson in music under his expert pt ji came in contactwith Pt. Vishnu Prasanna ji. Prasanna ji, a Shehnai & Flute maestro was honored with the NATIONAL AWARD in 1955 by the President of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad. Today Pt.
