Weird Siebe Gorman Respirator

A weird Siebe Gorman 40mm respirator/gas mask designated BM-13E-18, the mask is unusual because it seems similar to a firefighters respirator but has a normal 40mm NATO STANAG filter intake, however the valve setup in the mask does not work properly with NATO filters, I would assume it would need an oxygen supply to the mask or a powered blower unit. The mask also has an inflatable seal like the S6 respirator, but the tube uses a poorly made plug. This mask was made in the late 1990s, recently the stock of them was sold as surplus by the MOD.
