Mussolini’s Column (1929)

The River Tiber, Rome, Italy. Full titles read: “MUSSOLINI’S COLUMN - World’s largest shaft of marble - 60 ft. long, weighing 250 tons - reaches Rome, towed by 7 towboats up historic River Tiber to the great Forum erected by Nation to Il Duce.“ L/S of several boats and ships moving up the River Tiber.
