2010 When a devastating earthquake hit Kyi-gu-do in Tibet, it drew the attention and sympathy of the whole world. Rong-po, one of the worst affected areas located 40 KM from Kyi-gu-do still remains with no relief due to its remoteness. Ranyak monastery provided the much needed help.
