Firing muskets from the battlements of Lancaster Castle!

The Earl of Manchester’s Regiment of Foote garrisoned Lancaster Castle on the weekend of 4th and 5th August 2018 - musketeers ascended the mighty John O’Gaunt Tower, with spectacular views across the county, and fired from the same battlements from which Parliamentarian troops would have fired during the two-day siege of Lancaster 1643. It was a proud and stirring sight to see the Earl of Manchester’s flag fluttering in the breeze alongside them!
