Pompeii pattern

In this tutorial I demonstrate one of my favorite turk’s head knot patterns, the Pompeii pattern. It is demonstrated in the book by Ron Edwards called Round knots. This knot was tied on a mandrel about 1.3 inches in diameter and used up about 6 feet of each color of cord. The knot itself is an interweave of a 11L6B turk’s head. Although the interweave may seem complicated to do, it actually just requires a bit of patience.
