Why did Putin resign the government?

In January 2020, President Putin delivered his address to the federal assembly - after which, the entire government resigned. Of course they didn’t really resign - they were resigned, lol. The reshuffle is still in motion and I personally feel it’s too early to give any significant analysis. It is clear of course that the reshuffle was necessary in anticipation of the 2024 election. It is difficult for a Western audience to find a conservative point of view on what it taking place, so I thought this outtake from Tsargrad TV would be a nice counterbalance to the mostly liberal media that provides their analysis. K. Malofeev has been sanctioned by the US and EU for the past few years - something he says only makes other oligarchs in the same predicament, reinvest their money in Russia, as opposed to options in the West. #liberalism #putin #government #election #resignation
