Here is the second chapter of the mystic black metal illuminations of गौतम बुद्ध (Siddhattha Gotama), in the project’s sonic interpretation of the concepts and journey of Buddhist reincarnation. The first album really caught my attention, with its vivid red cover art, and the hypnotic melodiousness of the music, which I fully expected to be a kind of harsh wall rawness, but turned out to be almost whimsical, with many layers buried within enveloping noise. The four tracks in this album continue the musical theme, as well as the spiritual quest, with different emotional valences to each of the tracks as they deal with Revenge, Retribution, Reincarnation, Untimely death, and the completion of the incomplete Sādhanā - the ego-transcending spiritual practice. Patient tempering of the motifs of each track creates a meditative experience, and intricate details emerge as the tracks advance, with melodies and tones slowly shifting to
