Utricularia gibba

A suction trap of a carnivorous Bladderwort plant imaged with Optical Projection Tomography. The images were generated as part of the Inner Worlds Project which uses latest imaging techniques to reveal the inner structure of organisms and is based on research carried out in Enrico Coen’s group at the John Innes Centre.
