Otto Wagner’s Vienna

An introduction (unfinished) to the most significant buildings in Vienna designed by the architect Otto Wagner (1841-1918), along with illuminating quotations from his book “Modern Architecture“. The renowned Wagner scholar Otto Antonia Graf draws some explanatory sketches, and excerpts of compositions by Johannes Brahms and Gustav Mahler (fellow residents of Vienna at the time) accompany several sequences of images without commentary.
