Microsorum Punctatum (Grandiceps) or Polypodium polycarpon

Microsorum punctatum ’Grandiceps’ is fern from the genus Microsorum and family Polypodiaceae . Other Synonyms: Polypodium polycarpon, Terrestrial Elkhorn Fern, Crested Fern, Fish-Tail Fern, Fishtail Strap Fern, Climbing Bird’s Nest Fern, Dwarf Elkhorn Fern Its a native of australia. This is a fast-growing fern and requires little maintenance. They will add a good texture if displayed along other houseplants. Care Low light and shadows with high humidic coditions are prefered. Potting medium with high organic content can be used ,extra phosphorus to encourage good root development. Provide frequent watering and misting during the warmer months and less during doses of fertilizer can be provided. Propagation Propagate by spores, rhizome cuttings or dividing plants.
