Farewell Feathered Friends No.2 for violin and bird songs

FAREWELL FEATHERED FRIENDS No.2 for solo violin and audio tracks was composed in 2020, based on the songs of 7 in the Netherlands disappearing birds. The music is dedicated to these birds: golden plover, ortolan, great grey shrike, hop, eurasian wryneck, short-eared owl, black-crowned right heron. Edwin Blankenstijn first performed it on July 2 2021 at an open air concert in Doorn, NL.
