1956 DeSoto Fireflite Commercial

DeSoto was a brand of car from the Chrysler Corporation. It was a middle price to upper priced automobile, above a Dodge but below a Chrysler in pricing. The brand was terminated in the 1961 model year in the USA but Chrysler Corp continued to use the DeSoto name in other parts of the world. 1978 Chrysler sold off it’s Askam Truck Joint venture. DeSoto is still active in Turkey as a Truck Company. Chrysler Sanayi was originally the join venture in Turkey what built DeSoto Trucks
