Maythorn Monthly August 23

This is our monthly round-up of all the places we have been this month. You will see a final look at Varna, Bulgaria before we fly out of the country, and then we take a series of rail trips using a 4 day rail rover. The places we visited were Colwyn Bay, Llandudno and Bangor on the north Wales coast, Buxton and Glossop in Derbyshire, and Shrewsbury and Telford in Shropshire. In Merseyside we made local trips to Southport, Ormskirk, Chester, Maghull and New Brighton, noticing that only a small percentage of Merseyrail services have the new Class 777 trains as yet.
